It was a fantastic experience we tried afternoon tea for two for the first time here. We enjoyed the scones, desserts and sandwiches. Excellent quality, quick and friendly service from Jay and his colleague. Would come again!

JAY, YOU ARE THE BEST. Thankyou so much for an amazing, quick and attentive service. The food was amazing and the drink and atmosphere was impeccable. I have anxiety so most places like night clubs give me so much stress but slug and lettuce and the amazing staff like you just make it a whole lot more calmer and enjoyable.

Jay was the best server i’ve ever experienced at a bottomless brunch. he was constantly at the table checking in and asking if we needed anything additional and reccomending us drinks, i don’t think we went longer than waiting 10 mins for a order. i’d come every week if he was the waiter

I visited the Slug & Lettuce in Croydon for my birthday, and Jay absolutely made the day special! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and full of positive energy. He went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly — from the drinks to the atmosphere, it was all spot on. Jay's service really stood out. He kept the drinks flowing, was always checking in with a smile, and made sure we were having a great time. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about making your experience memorable, but Jay did just that. Thanks to him, my birthday was even more enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be coming back — especially if Jay’s working! Highly recommend for any celebration.

Had an amazing time at the bottomless brunch at Slug and Lettuce! The food was delicious, the drinks kept flowing, and the atmosphere was so much fun. A huge shoutout to Jay for his outstanding service – he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Jay really went above and beyond to make our experience special. Can’t wait to come back!
